Our program focuses on training students to apply good study habits as well as remediate the symptoms of a student’s learning problem. We aid students in organization, focus, as well as address more prevalent issues, such as reading comprehension issues and math trouble. Specialized teaching methods are used to help the student learn to concentrate and to remember what is heard and seen. These skills are requisites to good grades.
The procedure at My Kid’s Tutoring is as follows:
- Identify each student’s specific learning weaknesses.
- Design an individualized remediation strategy to correct any weaknesses.
- Build student’s confidence with genuine, positive feedback.
The range of remediation options available includes tutoring and basic skills development. Specialized training in concentration, memory and organization are provided as a part of the program.
